Sometimes you're minding your own business, spending your life in the commute traffic, seeing your family for about 5 minutes per day, when suddenly you up and lose your job. Well, that's what happened to us last February when Turin Networks Incorporated decided that my services were no longer necessary.
Guess what? It's not a bad thing. It was just the straw that we needed to send our camel on to the next adventure. This time it's Bend Oregon. For those of you with too much time on your hands you can read the complete saga.

Where's Bend? On the eastern slope of the Cascade Mountains, almost exactly halfway between Washington and California. Immediately to the west are Mt. Bachelor, Brokentop, and The Sisters. Mount Jefferson, Mount Washington, and even Mount Hood and Mount Adams can be seen on a clear day.

We're taking our high stress fast lane California lifestyle and trading it in for something that will allow us to teach Aaron something more than daycare survival skills. We're chucking pretty much all of our real-estate and moving into a house that doesn't require a salary the size of the GNP of small country to support.
Want to see our house? Sure you do! In fact, you want to heat up your LAN cable and check out the virtual tour that was made when the house was on the market. Well wait no longer, just click the links below!

We decided that our backyard was boring, so we added what we thought was going to be a small little water feature (everybody who's anybody has a water feature here in Brokentop). Click here to see the feature.
And of course all of our friends are always welcome to come visit. In fact, why don't you give us a buzz right now and let us know when you're coming? We're trying to convince as many of you as possible to come join us!
